Top 5 Health Tips

No matter where you are in your health journey, making some initial foundational changes can launch you into healing…and it doesn’t have to be hard!

#1. Stop eating ultra-processed packaged food, processed flour, sugar, and vegetable oils:
All of these things are very inflammatory to your body and keeps your body in a constant place of inflammation.


#2. Increase your protein:
Protein  and more specifically amino acids are the building blocks of our bodies. Without the right kind of protein and without enough protein, your body will eat your own muscle just to stay in the game. This will cause your metabolism to slow down and will lead to more weight gain, blood sugar imbalances, low muscle, and osteoporosis. You need 1g of protein for every pound of ideal body weight (if your ideal body weight in 150lbs but you weigh 180lbs, you will target 150g of protein/day).


#3. Increase your nutrients:
The second most important thing to get into your body are nutrients so that your body can work optimally. Nutrients mainly come through veggies and fruit and organ meat (you can use organ meat capsules if you don’t care for the taste).


#4. Resistance-training:
Being consistent in this is the other way you can increase your muscle besides eating enough protein. Muscle is our organ of longevity! The more muscle we have the less likely we will develop one of the diseases of aging. It also plays a large role in lowering our blood sugar, protects us if we fall, and even makes our bones stronger. 


#5. Lower your toxin load:
Toxins are in everything it seems these days! From makeup to perfumes to plastic to personal care products to laundry detergent to cookware. Finding non-toxic replacements for these things can make a massive difference to your future health and prevention of diseases.
