Chronic conditions have reached an all-time high! We currently have close to 44% of the population in Canada and the United States being treated for a chronic condition. From that number, 6-7% of people have some sort of autoimmune condition and 1 out of every 3 people live with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The only answer the medical system has been able to provide is to give medication to help manage the symptoms. But medication doesn't solve the problem...it just bandaids it.

This "Jumpstart to Health" group coaching program applies the principles from
level one of  The Wahls Protocol® . It's designed to bring healing to your body on a cellular level by using food as medicine. I know...because it worked for me!! Even though I have a genetic condition, by following this evidenced-based protocol I have been able to overcome debilitating fatigue and chronic pain. 

I'm a Health Coach and a Certified Wahls Health Professional and I can help YOU make the diet and lifestyle recommendations in this protocol not only possible but ultimately sustainable. This group coaching program is all about helping you succeed at jumpstarting your health!

Through your group, I learned the basic building blocks of the protocol in a “Cole’s notes” kind of version. The best part was learning and adopting one key strategy each week, learning how to eat GF, dairy free and sugar free, and so much information about quality protein and choosing nutrient dense foods and fats. This Jumpstart was incredible!  Danielle introduced us to the Wahls protocol slowly so it wasn’t too much of a shock.  She also gave us the tools to ease into it and eliminate the cravings for the foods that cause inflammation by educating us on healthy substitutions.  Food truly is medicine.  We assessed our health at the beginning and at the end of our course.  The improvement was nothing short of miraculous.  Weight loss, pain reduction, constant headaches gone, stopped losing my hair, allergies have eased, not retaining water like I used to.  I even noticed that my sense of smell has started to return in the last week.  I didn’t truly realize how unwell I felt until I started this protocol and started to feel better.  The sugar cravings were gone after a couple of weeks and never came back.  I now crave whole and healthy foods.  As each week goes by on the protocol I notice more health benefits.  I am looking forward to where this takes me in the weeks and years to come.  Thank you Danielle.  As always, you are a fount of knowledge and a great educator!  I would highly recommend your Jumpstart to anyone that asks!  ~Jacky Holbrough

It is hard to believe all that I accomplished in the six short weeks of “Jumpstart to Health”.  Through self-affirmations and reframing, I was able to break old thinking patterns. I tried many new foods for the first time and found out I really do like fruits and vegetables. I was a chronic diet pop drinker and broke that habit with very little stress or discomfort and feel amazing for doing it. By eating healthy and making better choices I was able to lower my insulin dosage by 30% and still maintain healthy blood sugar levels. I am encouraged in my body, soul, and spirit to continue to challenge myself with new goals with the realization that no matter your age … you can still change!  ~Gary Carmichael 
The Jumpstart to Health was very informative and enjoyable. Many new concepts of healthy eating were discussed and practiced with the many easy to follow recipes. I have recently completed the Jumpstart To Health program with Danielle Krause and I have been incredibly impacted. In just over the 6 weeks, I have seen a significant difference in my energy levels, sleep patterns and a change in a number of other health areas that I’d been struggling with. For the past year I’ve had many issues with my gut and after taking a GI-MAP test, realized I had a leaky gut and was intolerant to wheat which caused severe cramps and indigestion. With Danielle’s help and guidance, and by following the program, in just 6 weeks I’m now not experiencing any of those symptoms. Yay! The biggest transformation was stabilizing my thyroid. My TSH and cortisol levels have been either too high or too low for a long time and even after adjusting my medication with my practitioner‘s help, they weren’t in normal range. However, after just 6 weeks of learning to change my eating habits and putting into practice what foods will help heal my mitochondria, there’s been a significant change! My bloodwork recently came back and the levels in both these areas were in normal range. Both me and my practitioner were astounded! I am SO inspired to continue making this a lifestyle, in order to continue to feel fantastic! Thank you Danielle for being a true inspiration and helping me in my journey - you’re a Gem 💎!!!

Motivation to change must come from within, no doubt about that. Where and how to start with all the information out there, and all the possibilities of what will and won’t work, can be overwhelming. Having someone to guide, cue and support you through the process, aimed at what works for your individual situation, can make what seems so daunting actually be successful. To have other people in similar situations also see success can help build on your own. You still have to be prepared to do the work, and it may not be easy to change, but with Danielle’s enthusiastic, positive-perspective coaching and support you will recognize your successes, even small ones, to move past the barriers that keep you from your goals. IMPORTANT:
This group coaching program is done over a 6-week time period- meeting weekly on Zoom. It includes 50+ recipes, many handouts related to the "How-to" process, and "in-between" app-based coaching support. The size of the group is kept small with a maximum of 10 in each group. I am able to offer multiple groups according to community need.

This program follows the Wahls Protocol level one food guidelines. In order to be successful, you need to be prepared for what the course will entail. We will be focused on incorporating large amounts of nutrient-dense, healing veggies and fruit (9 cups per day) and removing inflammatory, reactive foods like gluten, dairy (sometimes eggs depending on the individual) and sugar. I will show you easy ways to do this that will make it fun and sustainable! And by the end of 6 weeks, you will be amazed at how much better you look and feel!!
